The Wichita Witches were a minor league baseball team from Wichita, Kansas, active in the Western League during 1912β1917 and 1921β1922. They played home games at Island Park. In 1921, under manager Joe Berger, the Witches secured the league championship with a 106β61 record. Notable players included Bill Abstein and Buzzy Wares. Despite their eventual dissolution, the Witches remain a significant part of Wichita's rich baseball history.
