Westchester Bowl in Bakersfield, CA, opened in 1959 under the ownership of Pete Lokey and Jack Moore. For six decades, this 24-lane bowling alley at 30th and F streets was a community hub, hosting countless games and leagues. In 2019, the lanes fell silent as the bowling center closed its doors, but Mossman's Westchester Coffee Shop, known for its fish and chips, continues to operate in the same building, preserving a piece of local history.
