New Playdium in Chicago, IL, was a beloved bowling alley that brought together locals for decades of strikes, spares, and good times. Likely operating from the 1930s or 1940s, it was owned by Charlie “Dutch” Burmann and became a hotspot for casual bowlers and league players alike. With its vintage charm and classic bowling atmosphere, it was one of the city’s go-to lanes before eventually closing, leaving behind memories of its neon glow and the sound of crashing pins.
