The Marshall Comets were a minor league baseball team based in Marshall, Texas, that played in the Lone Star League during the 1947 season. Managed by Jerry Feille and later Paul Kardow, the Comets finished the season with a 76–63 record, securing third place in the standings and advancing to the league finals, where they ultimately fell short. Notably, the team was part of the Lone Star League's post-World War II revival, contributing to the resurgence of minor league baseball in Texas during that era. Despite their competitive performance, the Comets' tenure was brief, as the Lone Star League disbanded after the 1948 season, leading to the team's dissolution. This design is part of our retro baseball collection, inspired by the defunct baseball teams of yesteryear. Printed on our super soft 3/4 sleeve baseball style raglan T-Shirt. We print & ship all of our high quality graphic tees in the USA.
