The Jacksonville Lunatics were a minor league baseball team from Jacksonville, Illinois, active in 1892 and 1907. They competed in the Illinois–Iowa League in 1892, finishing with a 30–57 record. In 1907, they played in the Iowa State League, ending the season at 63–61. The team's unique name reflected Jacksonville's association with the state mental hospital. Despite their brief existence, the Lunatics are a part of Illinois's rich baseball history. This design is part of our retro baseball collection, inspired by the defunct baseball teams of yesteryear.
