The Akron Rubbernecks were a minor league baseball team from Akron, Ohio, active in 1906 and 1915. The name "Rubbernecks" paid homage to Akron's prominent rubber industry. In 1906, they competed in the Class C Ohio–Pennsylvania League, finishing second with an 83–55 record under manager Walter East. The team briefly resurfaced in 1915 in the Class D Buckeye League but disbanded mid-season. Despite their short-lived tenure, the Rubbernecks are a part of Akron's rich baseball history.
