The Maxim Hotel and Casino opened on July 1, 1977, at 160 East Flamingo Road, just off the Las Vegas Strip. Known for its personalized service, it attracted guests seeking a more intimate experience compared to larger resorts. Facing financial difficulties, the Maxim closed its casino in 1999 and ceased all operations on August 13, 2001. The property was later renovated and reopened as The Westin Las Vegas.
