The Desert Inn Hotel and Country Club, known as the "D.I.," opened on April 24, 1950, as one of the first luxury resorts on the Las Vegas Strip. Originally developed by Wilbur Clark but backed by Moe Dalitz, it was famous for its upscale accommodations, entertainment, and the Desert Inn Golf Club, which hosted the PGA Tour’s Tournament of Champions. After 50 years of operation, the Desert Inn closed on August 28, 2000, and was later demolished to make way for Wynn Las Vegas. This design is part of our retro vintage collection, celebrating the vintage defunct golden era venues of yesteryear. Printed on our warm & cozy unisex hoodie (hooded sweatshirt). We print & ship all of our high quality graphic hoodies in the USA.
