The Jade Isle Restaurant, a defunct vintage Chinese-Polynesian eatery in Scotch Plains, New Jersey, opened its doors in 1971. For nearly five decades, it delighted patrons with its unique fusion cuisine and vibrant tiki-themed ambiance, complete with a "tiki room" and signature umbrella drinks like Mai Tais, Zombies, and the Jade Isle Punch.
