Sunset Bowling Center, located at 5852 Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood, California, opened its doors on May 29, 1939. With an impressive 52 lanes, it was one of the largest and most iconic bowling alleys of its time, drawing crowds from across Los Angeles. The grand opening featured a star-studded event, cementing its place as a Hollywood hotspot. The center operated until the mid-1950s, after which the site transitioned to other uses.
